I found your blog while doing some research on Sao Paulo. I’m moving to Sao Paulo from Dallas in October for two years with work. Yay accountants!! And yeah, I just cheered for the bean counters! I’m trying to get the whole where to live, how to save, what to expect etc figured out before I go. I’m also taking a three-week language course in July, so I hope high school Spanish helps me. It’s a little scary and your blog/photos have lifted my spirits. Any information you can pass along would be greatly appreciated.

This is SO random, but I came across your blog while doing research for a Brazil project I am working on, then as I was reading around I thought to myself…this girl looks very familiar…then I figured it out!

I am Brenna Smithson – formerly Brenna Whisney – I am a few years younger than you from Edina AND Jane Wilson’s niece!!! Your mom and Jane have been pals/colleagues for YEARS! Then, I had this flashback of my Aunt Jane telling me you were in Sao Paulo and Lisa was in Chicago. At this point, I wasn’t working on a Brazil project so didn’t think much of it. Then when I came across your blog via a google blogsearch I put all of the pieces together. SO CRAZY!!!

SO, now I am a week and a half away from my first trip to Sao Paulo and think it would be so fun to get together while I am down there. I will be working most of the time, but will have some time to explore. I’d be awesome to have you as my tour guide for a few hours!

I hope you will be back in SP by the time I get down there! Shoot me an email and let me know. Then, once I get my travel schedule nailed down we can find some time to meet up!
